We have followed this discipline since its inception, when the BCI was born in 1996 and formalized its principles. It has the ambitious goal of preparing companies for any type of unexpected event, mitigating its impact on the organization.
At its dawn it was formalized by the BSI (British Standard Institute) with the PAS 56, a document of public indications of requirements, while the BCI Business Continuity Institute began to draw up the first versions of the guidelines of good practice called GPG, the first official standard in Europe is BS25999 which will result in ISO 22301 as of today at the second revision.
A Company founded in 2005 was born from professionals who actively helped the development of business continuity with the Business Continuity Institute. A Company contributed to the drafting of the Good Practice Guidelines in the years from 2005 to 2008. One of the founders of A Company Luigi Corsaro was the Italian representative of the institute from 2005 to 2011.
We have gained experience throughout the life cycle of the business continuity management system in various sectors such as healthcare, the financial world (banks, insurance companies, asset management companies) and the oil world (both upstream and downstream).
